Last week I was gone for a few days. I was on vacation. Spontaneously we have decided in the morning to go to Międzyzdroje. The Baltic's really worth seeing. The only thing that has voted me something negative was the fact that is not hot enough, in order to go swimming. But when I was first time there, I had the best mood ever. Fresh sea air, the sea and small cozy restaurants, what more could you want?
On the first day we left quite late and were therefore only late in the evening there. but we had enough time to arrive at the apartment.
The next day we were a bit more active. Well vacation is actually for relaxing. We hired bikes for just 5 euros for 2 hours. Really low. Then we cycled through the city, drove up to the National Park and watched there the Bison Park. Before we might come in, we first had to wait quite a while because a huge bunch of kids occupied the checkout. In all seriousness every child has bought a wooden deer or a wooden otter. I felt sorry for the woman at the desk. When we were finally inside, there were a few lazy boar, a deer, an otter (did not find it), an eagle and a few bisons. The latter are truly beautiful animals. Finally, we still have a bought a bison pin and then we cycled back down the hill. Then we were still a little bit shopping food, so we could make it cozy in the evening in our apartment. (We actually had constantly a terrorist cat in front of our garden door. She jumped permanently against the window and looked angry at me. Creepy Animal. ^^)
Actually we wanted to go home already tomorrow, but we were actually just there. So we decided to go a day later. So we have looked at a little closer the beach promenade, have extensively eaten delicious food and sniffed the sea air, put us to the beach and watched the fishermen at their hobby. You could even relax a little on the beach. I may not become completely brown, but it was warm at all. Since we had already checked out, we decided to seek a new apartment. This was newly refurbished and offers only 30 Euro cost per night and this for 2 persons. Crazy what you get for a little money in Poland.
On the day of departure we had a large breakfast and went home. Misdroy, we'll be back in a few years!
Incidentally, yes there just not as the high season, therefore especially many children and many elderly people were there. This did not bother me and the place is recommended for families with children, as there is a huge playground there. I think there every child feels good. Who likes fish, is just right here, too. In a part of the city, quite on the eastern side, there is a fishing area where you get offered a wide variety of fish. There are great restaurants, we were at the "Port". The food there is so delicious!
So I hope I could make you a little fancy of Międzyzdroje. ;)
Letzte Woche war ich ja für ein paar Tage verschwunden. Mich hat es in den Urlaub gezogen. Ganz spontan früh morgens haben wir uns dazu entschlossen nach Misdroy zu fahren. Die Ostsee ist ja echt sehenswert. Das Einzige was mich etwas negativ gestimmt hat, war die Tatsache das es noch nicht warm genug ist, um schwimmen zu gehen. Aber als ich erst mal dort war, hatte ich die beste Laune überhaupt. Frische Meeresluft, der Blick aufs Meer und kleine gemütliche Restaurants, was will man mehr?
Am ersten Tag sind wir ziemlich spät losgefahren und waren dementsprechend spät abends erst da. Dafür hatten wir aber Zeit um im Apartment anzukommen.
Am nächsten Tag waren wir dann etwas aktiver. Naja Urlaub ist ja eigentlich zum Entspannen da. Wir liehen uns Fahrräder für gerade mal 5 Euro für 2 Stunden. Richtig günstig. Dann radelten wir durch die Stadt, fuhren hoch zum Nationalpark und schauten uns dort den Wisentpark an. Bevor wir aber dort rein kommen konnten, mussten wir erst mal eine ganze Weile warten, da eine riesige Horde Kinder die Kasse besetzten. Da hat sich doch allen ernstes jedes Kind einen Holzhirsch oder einen Holzfischotter gekauft. Die Frau an der Kasse tat mir echt leid. Als wir endlich drinnen waren, gab es ein paar faule Wildschweine, einen Hirsch, einen Fischotter (haben ihn nicht gefunden), einen Adler und ein paar Wisente zu bestaunen. Letztere sind wahrlich schöne Tiere. Zum Schluss haben wir noch einen Wisent-Pin migenommen und dann ging es auch schon wieder den Berg hinunter. Dann waren wir noch ein wenig Lebensmittel einkaufen, damit wir uns es abends in unserem Apartment gemütlich machen konnten. (Wir hatten übrigens ständig eine Terrorkatze vor unserer Gartentür. Sie ist permanent gegen die Scheibe gesprungen und hat mich böse angesehen. Gruseliges Tier.^^)
Eigentlich wollten wir am Folgetag schon nach Hause fahren, aber wir waren ja eigentlich gerade erst da. Also beschlossen wir einen Tag später zu fahren. So haben wir uns ein wenig die Strandpromenade näher angeschaut, haben ausgiebig geschlemmert und Meeresluft geschnuppert, uns an den Strand gelegt und den Anglern bei ihrem Hobby zugesehen. Man konnten sich sogar ein wenig am Strand sonnen. Ich bin vielleicht nicht ganz braun geworden, aber warm war es allemal. Da wir ja schon ausgecheckt hatten, beschlossen wir ein neues Apartment aufzusuchen. Dieses war gerade frisch renoviert und kostete pro Nacht gerade mal 30 Euro und das für 2 Personen. Verrückt was man in Polen für ein wenig Geld alles bekommt.
Am Tag der Abreise ging es nach einem umfangreichen Frühstück Richtung Heimat. Misdroy, wir kommen in ein paar Jahren wieder!
Übrigens ist ja dort gerade noch nicht so die Hauptsaison, dementsprechend waren besonders viele Kinder und viele ältere Menschen aufzufinden. Mich hat es nicht gestört und der Ort ist empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern, da es dort ein riesigen Spielplatz gibt. Ich glaube dort fühlt sich jedes Kind pudelwohl. Wer gerne Fisch ist, ist hier auch genau richtig. In einem Teil der Stadt, ziemlich an der östlichen Seite, befindet sich ein Fischergebiet, wo man verschiedenste Fische angeboten bekommt. Dort gibt es tolle Restaurants, wir waren beim "Port". Das Essen dort ist so lecker!

Sipping cocktails. Restaurants are closed 10 pm or 11 pm. Misdroy is no party place. It is more a relaxing paradise.
